Yes - another set of new parents!
Well we have been without a kitty for a couple of years. We figured another would turn up so waited. CHecked out a local rescue but nobody was quite right. Sadly these kitties lost their person rather suddenly so we decided to try them out and see if they liked us arranged by @Kbr42 . They are very nervous and have just started to come out. Charlie is a ginger girl but I haven't managed a picture of Allister (the boy) yet. Perhaps @Kbr42 could post one if she still has it on her phone. They are both very beautiful. Charlie decide to sleep on our bed last night so progress!

What a sad way to get new pets but kudos to you for stepping in for these beauties ❤. I could only hope someone so qualified would step up for mine.

That is always the huge worry, what happens to the critters if/when something happens to us.

Well, we promised to find these 2 older kitties a good home and we did. Putting them into a shelter was never an option. We would have kept them. However, 5 cats and 2 dogs with a few chickens would have put us over our limit. They are both wonderful critters and it would seem that have found and equally wonderful new family.

Love happy rescue stories, they have certainly landed well with @Killerbunny and her DH and the rest of the feathered critters. lucky kitties.
